• SZA was born Solana Imani Rowe on November 8, 1989 in Missouri and raised in New Jersey. In the early 2010s, after dropping out of a college with a marine biology major, SZA released a few EPs: See.SZA.Run and S. As a singer and songwriter, SZA has won over the critics with her strong R&B, jazz-influened music - often described as 'alt-R&B'.
