Meghan Trainor was born December 22,
1993 and raised on Nantucket, Cape Cod, MA.
Meghan had music in her life early on - singing
and songwriting before becoming a teenager. After
the family relocated to Eastham, MA, she became a
member of a jazz band at Nauset High School. By
the time she attended the Berklee College of
Music, Meghan had already produced and released a
self-title album. Meghan also released two
acoustic LPs, I'll Sing With You and Only
17 in 2011.
October 4: Meghan topped the
Billboard Radio Songs chart for 3 weeks and Pop
Songs chart for 3 weeks with ""All About That Bass."
October 11: Meghan topped the UK
singles chart for 4 weeks with ""All About That Bass." The single also
topped the charts in Australia, Austria, Canada,
Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Mexico, New
Zealand, Poland, Spain, and Switzerland.
