• Charlie Puth was born December 2, 1991 in New Jersey. From an early age, music was a big interest for Charlie eventually leading to graduating from the Berklee College of Music with a music production major. Charlie began trying to get his music to the public through YouTube and his channel Charlies Vlogs. He rose to fame when he contributed vocals to the big Wiz Khalifa hit See You Again" from the Furious 7 soundtrack.

• Charlie was signed to Ellen DeGeneres' music label, eleveneleven, after she saw him with Emily Luther performing the cover of the Adele song "Someone Like You."

• Charlie released the promotional single "Break Again."
