presents The Top Pop Songs
Of All Time !
We have ranked the top pop songs that have charted over the past
50+ years on The ARC Weekly Top 40 and Billboard Hot 100, and
come up with
a definitive list that will continue to expand as we add to it,
and continue to modify as new songs chart on The ARC Weekly Top
40.
Sean Paul Henriques was
born January 8, 1975 in Jamaica, and it was in
Jamaica in the mid-90s where Sean Paul first
began finding success with his musical mix of
reggae and dance tunes (after a successful
attempt at water polo for his country). The
musical journey (which replaced a brief career
goal of hotel management) soon led to the US and
a recording contract. By the late 90s, Sean Paul
teamed with Spanner Banner and

Man." Other singles hitting it big in
Jamaica included "Baby Girl" and
"Who Am I."
April 5: Sean Paul hit the ARC Weekly Top 40with
"Get Busy." He told VH1 the
meaning of the song: "It's mainly a party
song. It's not all about smoking weed.
It's more like what I do when I'm in a party
environment, looking at the ladies passing,
realizing which one is sexy, which one is going
to catch my flow. Realizing that I got my dough,
let's bust some Moet. That song is about what I
do in a club."
