Busta Rhymes was born, Trevor
Smith, on May 20, 1972 in New York. Busta
began performing with the Leaders Of
The New School before hitting it big
solo. Although he never sold the millions of
LPs his rapping counterparts sold, Busta
remains one of the most original hip hop
artists with his rapid-fire rapping style and
innovative videos.
