- The Pussycat dolls were formed in
1995 in Los Angeles by choreographer Robin Antin
originally as a singing and dancing team that
grew into an actual singing group. The current
line up that topped the charts includes Nicole
Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, Carmit Bachar,
Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton, and Ashley
Roberts.
- September 9: The Pussycat Dolls topped
the Billboard Top 40 Mainstream chart for 2 weeks
with "Buttons."
- September 30: The Pussycat Dolls topped
the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart for 1 week
with "Buttons."
- July 7: The Pussycat Dolls
performed at the Live Earth concert in the UK. The
7-continent concert organized by Al Gore brought
together over 100 artists to perform and raise
the world's awareness about the climate crisis
and how to make a difference to help the
environment and the world.
- May 16: The Pussycat Dolls topped
the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart for 1 week
with Snoop Dogg with
"Bottle Pop."
- August 15: The Pussycat Dolls topped
the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart for 1 week
with "Hush Hush."
- May 25: Nicole was crowned the
winner of Dancing With The Stars.
- March 26: Nicole topped the UK
singles chart with "Don't Hold Your
Breath."
