 Luke Bryan started out in
the music business as a songwriter before
claiming his place on the country charts.
Although his brand of 'good-time' country music
is popular with fans, Bryan hasn't won over the
critics yet.

 February 26: Bryan topped the

- May 7: Bryan topped the

"Country Girl (Shake It For Me)."
- February 16: Bryan topped the
Billboard Country Airplay chart for 1 week
helping out Jason Aldean and Eric Church with
"The Only Way I Know."
 March 5: Bryan released Spring
Break... Here To Party. Rolling Stone
said of the LP: "The latest from this
chart-topping country frat boy is the best
spring-break concept album ever recorded. It's
also the worst, and probably not the last." - March 23: Bryan topped the
Billboard 200 chart for 1 week, Digital Albums
chart for 1 week, and Country Albums chart for 2
weeks with Spring

- July 13: Bryan topped the
Billboard Country Airplay chart for 3 weeks with
"Crash My Party."
 August 13: Bryan released Crash
My Party. Rolling Stone said of the
LP: "Bryan just can't match, say Kenny Chesney's knock for lonely
contemplation. Given the drinking songs he's best
at, he'd be better off pretending spring break
lasts all year long." - August 31: Bryan topped the
Billboard 200 chart for 2 weeks, Digital Albums
for 1 week, and Country Albums chart with Crash
My Party.
