presents The Top Pop Songs
Of All Time !
We have ranked the top pop songs that have charted over the past
50+ years on The ARC Weekly Top 40 and Billboard Hot 100, and
come up with
a definitive list that will continue to expand as we add to it,
and continue to modify as new songs chart on The ARC Weekly Top
40.
Fergie was born Stacy Ann
Ferguson on March 27, 1975 in California. Prior
to becoming a member of the Black Eyes Peas, Fergie appeared in Kids
Inc. for 5 years in the 80s and was a member
of the group Wild Orchid.
Between the disappointment of her first group's
success and her second group's massive success,
Fergie got addicted to crystal methamphetamine.
She said of her recovery from addiction: "It
was the hardest boyfriend I ever had to break up
with. I dug deep as to why I got there. It's the
drug that's addicting. But it's why you start
doing it in the first place that's interesting. A
lot of it was being a child actor; I learned to
suppress feelings." Fergie had beaten her
addiction by the time she joined the Black Eyes Peas in 2003.
March 24: Fergie topped the
Billboard Hot 100 chart for 2 weeks, the Digital
Songs chart for 2 weeks, and the Pop 100 chart
for 3 weeks with help from Ludacris with "Glamorous."
December 31: Fergie topped the Billboard Year-End
Charts as the Top Pop Artist - Female
(singles & albums), Top Hot 100 Singles
Artist - Female, Top Pop 100 Artist, Top Digital

Digital Song , and Top Pop 100 Airplay Track
