 Tom Petty & The
Heartbreakers formed in early 70's with Tom
Petty, Mike Cambell and Benmont Tench
performing as 'Mudcrutch' in Florida. After
releasing 1 single "Depot Street"
on Shelter Records in 1974, the trio went
their separate ways and regrouped a year
later adding Ron Blair and Stan Lynch and
naming themselves Tom Petty & The
Heartbreakers.
