Josh Groban was born in California on February 27, 1981. With a deep baritone voice, Josh filled a void in the world of music that had been saturated by boy bands and pop starlets.

By his late teens, Josh had been studying with David Foster which led to an invitation to perform at the inauguration for California Governor Gray Davis.

Groban filled in for Andrea Bocelli at the rehearsals for the Grammy Awards dueting with Celine Dion on "The Prayer."

A record deal with Warner Music soon followed and Josh began working on his debut LP with David Foster.

Josh made his acting debut on Ally McBeal.

Josh appeared on the soundtrack for A.I. - Artificial Intelligence with a duet with Lara Fabian - "For Always."

Josh released his debut LP, Josh Groban.

Josh reprised his role of Malcom Wyatt on Ally McBeal.

Josh performed with Charlotte Church at the Winter Olympics closing ceremony.
