The ARC Weekly Top 40 is a weekly Top 40 pop chart that has been in existence since 1980 and became associated with Rock On The Net in 1997. The ARC is based on weekly sales, radio airplay, and video play.

1st column: Song Ranking *
2nd column: Song Title *
3rd column: Highest Peaking Position **
4th column: Weeks in the Top 40
5th column: Year of Song Peak
6th column: links to Amazon.com for the song's LP and lyric links

* In the case of a song charting twice in separate years, the points are combined and the song is ranked only once.

** In the case of Number 1 songs, the weeks at Number 1 are presented in parentheses.

*** Some pages also show added information in the 2nd column, including the song's chart run, awards, and a picture of the cd single.

Pre-1980:

With Artist Discographies that include song releases prior to 1980, the peak and weeks in the Top 40 are representative of the chart run in Billboard Magazine. The song's points have been determined using the same format as The ARC Weekly Top 40.
