5, 1995 in South Africa and raised in Australia.
Troye is known for his singing, songwriting,
acting, and his time as a YouTube personality.
Sivan is actually Troye's middle name. His music
began to get noticed with his YouTube videos and
several public appearances in the mid and late
2000s. Troye signed with EMI Australia in 2013.
- August 7: Troye came out publicly
on YouTube as gay.
- April 16: Troye topped the
Billboard Dance Club Songs chart for 1 week with
"Youth."
