Everclear originated in
Portland, Oregon in 1992 and consists of Art
Alexakis on vocals and guitar, Craig Montoya
on bass, and Greg Eklund on drums. Before
Everclear, Alexakis performed with a few
bands ('Eazy Hoes' and 'Colorfinger') in
California and Montoya played with 'Soul
Hammer' in Washington. Eklund's previous band
experience included 'Jollymon' in Oregon.

woman alleged that both players struck her as
the dove from the stage. A member of
Everclear reportedly invited the 2 players on
stage and urged both men to dive into the
audience. The suit also claims that security
at the nightclub made no attempt to stop the
incident when the band member announced that
the players were going to stage dive.
