- Hailing from Oklahoma, the
All-American Rejects consists of Tyson Ritter on
vocals and bass, Nick Wheeler on guitars and
keyboards, Mike Kennerty on guitar, and Chris
Gaylor on drums. The group was formed in 2001 by
Ritter and Wheeler, and their name was created by
combining the suggestions 'The All-Americans' and
'The Rejects.' Originally, Ritter and Wheeler
began touring and giving out demos of their songs
(the EP Same Girl, New Songs) with
drummer Tim Cambell. Campbell left the group
