September 22: White Zombie announced they
had decided to breakup after 13 years together. In a
statement, the band said: "after 13 years, White
Zombie has accomplished everything we set out to do
and we all felt it was time to move on."
Frontman, Rob Zombie, also told MTV: "It was
kind of a mutual decision that took place a couple
days ago... It was almost like an unsaid thing that
was going on... we just all got on the phone, talked,
came to the conclusion that after 13 years we did
everything we wanted to do and it was just done... it
wasn't like this big blow out and everyone was mad at
each other... it just came to a logical end."
