The country trio Rascal Flatts
consists of Gary LeVox, Joe Don Rooney, and
Jay DeMarcus and hail from Ohio. The group
first began forming in 1992 when LeVox
pursued music as part of the Christian group
'East To West' and 5 years later asking his
second cousin DeMarcus to join him to form
their own band and eventually brought in
Rooney to finish off their trio.
