Phish announced they would be splitting up after their summer tour.

Phish released Undermind.

Phish's farewell concert in Vermont came with some problems. Heavy rains prior to the concert left parking areas muddy with cars getting stuck and campgrounds inaccessible. Many concert goers were told to not proceed to the concert and they would receive refunds, but many concert goers decided to walk to the show.

Live At Madison Square Garden New Year's Eve 1995 (Entertainment Weekly: A-) was released.

Live In Brooklyn was released (Billboard peak: # 162). The set included a live performance from June, 2004.

Phish regrouped and released Joy (Billboard peak: # 13 - Rolling Stone: - Entertainment Weekly: B).
