Papa Roach formed in 1993 with members Jacoby Shaddix
on vocals, Dave Buckner on drums, Will James on bass,
and Ben Luther in California. Luther was soon
replaced by Jerry Horton on guitar. A year later the
band line up changed again with Tobin Esperance
replacing James. Before finding a major label, Papa
Roach released a few EPs including Potatoes
For Christmas (1994) and Caca Bonita (1995),
5 Tracks Deep (1998), and the LP Old
Friends From Young Years (1997). The band also
became through their touring and appearances at the
'Van Warped Tour' and 'Ozzfest.'
Papa Roach released Infest (available for download at iTunes and Amazon-mp3). Rolling Stone said
of the LP and band: "Rock lyrics are all too
rarely this direct and fearless. Papa Roach might be
a (Rage Against The Machine)

timeless stylings... Underneath all the metal thunder

the only thing bleeding is Papa Roach's heart. The
fact that they can express that even as they're
rocking you like a Six Flags ride is what makes this
band so singular and, possibly, indestructible."
Lovehatetragedy was certified gold.

on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and
