20-something, Amanda Perez, from Indiana burst on the
music scene with the track "Angel" - a song written as a tribute to
her cousin who died young from heart failure.
Amanda's youth was filled with music inspiration and
experimentation with learning to play music. Amanda
hit a sour note when her drive to succeed with her
music led her to sell drugs for income - a decision
she now regrets. Amanda's R&B smoothness combined
with hip-hop stylings led to a recording contract
with Virgin Records.
