Fountains Of Wayne consists of
Chris Collingwood, Adam Schlesinger, Jody
Porter, and Brian Young. The band was named
by Collingwood after a store in Wayne, New
Jersey. Fountains Of Wayne released Fountains
Of Wayne in October, 1996 with
only Collingwood and Schlesinger as official
members. Porter and Young were full-fledged
member by the time Utopia
Parkway was released in April, 1999.
Fountains Of Wayne were included
in Entertainment Weekly's "It
List: The 100 Most Creative People In
Entertainment."
