Chingy hails from St. Louis,
Missouri and he began his rise to fame first
when he toured with Nelly in 2002 and was signed
to a record deal by Ludacris on his Disturbing the
Peace label. Chingy's previous rap personas
included the name 'Thugsy' and as a member of
'Without Warning' and "Three Strikes.'
